That is to say, ingesting a great deal of smoke into the lungs will have detrimental side effects particularly if the smoke is ingested over an extended number of years. As such, the ingestion of the smoke should only occur intermittently and not in such a manner that it would be described as abusive to the self. This would undermine the primary objective which is to increase proper health.
These natural herbs should only be smoked in an effort to greatly improve an individuals physical and mental condition. They are not designed as recreational drugs and should not be used as such. This is a point of clarification that should not be forgotten.
